Ovarian cancer

As women age, their bodies become vulnerable to a host of afflictions, many of which can result in extremely serious complications. One of the most terrifying of those is ovarian cancer. Most commonly forming in the outer lining of the ovary, it is the second most common gynecologic cancer with a 1.5% incidence rate in women. It is often referred to as the "silent killer" because identifying the symptoms of ovarian cancer can be quite difficult. In this article, I will describe the primary symptoms of ovarian cancer and help you understand how they can resemble the symptoms of other diseases.
