Cerebral palsy
Cerebral palsy is a neurological condition that affects the brain. It actually refers to any number of disorders that impairs a person's ability to function. The one thing that all have in common is that they are non-progressing. That means that the condition does not worsen over time as some conditions do. If you break down the disease into its root words you have "cerebellum" which refers to the brain and "palsy" which is a disorder of movement. CP affects motorized movements and is most often diagnosed early in life when certain traits begin to manifest themselves.
